In this warm and highly personal little book, the author, Lon Emerick shares humorous anecdotes and profound experiences from his life which highlight ten simple lessons he has gleaned along the way. His is a life shaped by his love for his family, his life long passion for Nature, and his experiences as a professor, naturlist, and speach therapist in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Chapters each highlight a specific way of looking at life such as "Don't Wear a Raincoat in the Shower" and "Don't Pole Vault Over Mouse Turds".
