5 out of 5 stars Hooray! Finally!   May 3, 2008

2. Chinese chicken chop (245 calories)
3. Sassy salsa pumpkin soup (177 for a generous cup)
4. Veggie-friendly asian lettuce wraps (220 calories for 3)
5. Mexi-tato (277 for a whole potato and a ton of toppings)
6. Ooey-gooey chili cheese nachos (216 calories for 1/6 of batch)
7. Lord of the onion rings (153 for a whole onion's worth!)
8. Chilly chocolate cheesecake nuggets (42 for 2)

4 out of 5 stars Love it!   May 2, 2008
Great recipes that make the junk food healthy! The only sad part about the book is that she couldn't print the WW points, but she does give the nutritional values.

5 out of 5 stars Supertastic!!!!   May 2, 2008

I heart this book! Lisa has literally saved my life! I am no chef by any means and I love that all of the recipes in this book not only taste great, they are also easy to make. Let's face it, most people are overweight because it is more convenient to stop by and pick up a couple of burgers on the way home than it is to go home and prepare a meal. That was before "Hungry Girl" came to the rescue! As an added bonus, my family will also eat most of these recipes!WOOOHOOO!!!! I am already pining away for the next book!

This book is so easy to read and for someone who's shy about cooking directions are easy to follow. Recipes are great!

5 out of 5 stars BEST. COOKBOOK. EVER.   May 1, 2008

I've seen a LOT of diet-conscious cookbooks over the past 3 decades and even if you're not on a diet, this one is a must-have.

The recipes use readily-available ingredients, and they're fairly quick and very easy to follow, with lots of hints and tips. I found them to be surprisingly original, and with plenty of variety to suit most any taste and mood. There's also a lot of single-serving recipes (finally!). Each recipe also includes a nutrition breakdown, which is very helpful if you keep a food journal.

There's plenty of healthy-living hints and exercise ideas sprinkled throughout the book, too.

I just made the cheeseburger salad, and it was delicious!
