Product Description In any era, great Americans inspire us to reach our full potential, and they find commonsense solutions to the nation s problems. One such American, Thomas Paine, was an ordinary man who changed the course of history by penning Common Sense, the concise 1776 masterpiece in which, through extraordinarily straightforward and indisputable arguments, he encouraged his fellow citizens to take control of America s future and freedom. Nearly two and a half centuries later, those very freedoms once again hang in the balance. Glenn Beck revisits Paine s powerful treatise with one purpose: to galvanize Americans to see past government s easy solutions, two-part monopoly, and illogical methods, and take back our great country. Glenn Beck, the nationally syndicated radio and Fox News television show host, is the author of five previous 1 New York Times bestsellers. Hacking Your Way to Wealth with Common Nonsense August 31, 2010 K. Freed 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
Glenn Beck is a hack of the first order. I've never read so much idiotic blather in a single chapter. I had to put it down and never purchased a copy - it stunk that bad of ulterior motives and history jamming double-speak.
Mandatory Reading! August 29, 2010 Barry Sams (Tampa FL) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Glen Beck is a modern-day prophet, whose words should be heeded by Freedom Loving Americans!
He's a comedian. August 26, 2010 Aaron Buckley (Miami) Beck took a comedy show and turned it into a Republican rant a la Rushbo. It's still comedy but now he's the only one laughing.
Too Much Common Sense! August 25, 2010 Abe Fortson (Tacoma, WA) But the book and let Glen sort out what's going on out there. Highley recommended!
Excellent August 25, 2010 Ron Grey (Fargo, ND) Common Sense by Glen Beck makes way too much common sense! This is a must read for any freedom loving American.
