When I moved to Michigan from California I knew very little about Michigan until I read Voyages into Michigan's Past. Larry B. Massie (the author) wrote about the very first settlers that came to Michigan and how they adapt. This book talks about some well known battles and why small pieces were being fought for. Even the history of some famous colleges, colleges that date back to the early 1900s. Larry B. Massie did a great job teaching me about the history of Michigan! If you are into history and/or action or if you just want to learn a little about Michigan this book is for you!
