MegaSkills: How Families Can Help Children Succeed In... January 4, 2001 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is an excellent book for parents to help them rethink the ways they can help their children develop those crucial character skills necessary to success. As a school principal I have one copy that has been loaned out numerous times to parents seeking help. Too bad that each child is not born with instructions tied to their toes. For young parents who are learning to become good parents or for parents seeking better ways to help their children develop good character traits, this book is very helpful.
Extremely Helpful! Many doors opened for my family! June 26, 2000 13 out of 14 found this review helpful
Not only does this book advise one to teach children fundamental skills it tells one HOW to teach. It's not an overnight accompolishment, but it is the next best thing. This book gives clear, precise activities to do with you child on a normal persons schedule. I have found it relieves the guilt associated with not spending enough quality time with your children. It tells you what to do with them. It's so simple. I wonder why I didn't think of it.
