Customer Reviews:

1 out of 5 stars Shoddily written, egotistical   January 1, 2007

If you're interested in reading an informative book on the Granholm/DeVos campaign, this is not for you. If you're interested in reading about how awesomely Tim Skubick thinks he covered the race, well then, it's your $20 to waste. If by some chance you can get past the author's arrogant take on everything, you won't be able to overlook the fact that this book was obviously never edited. Skubick writes several times that about arriving places with his "camera in toe" and employs several made-up ("feverously") and misspelled ("medifore") words throughout the book, and half of a chapter title is just...missing. It's shoddily and poorly written, seemingly designed to provide the author with an outlet to blow smoke up his own...you know what, than to provide interested readers with any real 'insider' knowledge of the campaign. I was thoroughly disappointed.
