The book is poorly organized, out of date, and long winded. If you are a professor, look elsewhere. If you are a student who has to use this, try for used -- that way you won't feel so bad when you throw it away.

Gotta buy a supplement to get through BA using this text. May 6, 2006

I strongly suggest that purchasing a supplement is a wise choice if your prof uses this text for BA - I used the Nutshell by Hamilton (the same author of the text) - Very Helpful! Good luck in BA!

I'm sure this is a handy reference for people who know about corporations already. However, learning the law of corporations from this text is agonizing. There is no flow to the text; extracts are unhelpfully arranged without explanation.

Concepts are often given introductory explanation after you have already trudged through pages in which give the concept more in depth treatment. Inexplicably, much of the best information is in the footnotes.

If this is your required text, be prepared to do a lot of additional research to illuminate the content.
