Product Description Calvin Coolidge said: "The business of America is business." From the mom and pop store to giant international companies, today's form of business is typically the corporation. This Nutshell will tell you why, and it will introduce you to the unique characteristics of this modern creation: corporate autonomy, transferability and even a kind of immortality. This text will get you literate enough in the language of the corporation to be comfortable with this fundamental part of business law. Once corporations become familiar figures, you'll be able to address exam questions more quickly and accurately.

Summary of Corporations September 8, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book offers an excelent summary of Corporations. It has an easy vocabulary and it is very well organized. However, it does not have any margins. In short, I really recommend it as a second source to improve your studies of Corporate Law.

This is a very detailed book and in my opinion is not for you unless you have a bit of a background in Law.
One of the best in the series! September 22, 2005 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I'm a law student and a big Nutshell fan. This is definitely one of the best Nutshells in the series. It's clear, it's organized, and it covers a broad array of issues in corporate governance and operation. I think it would make a better text than the bulky casebooks we're forced to carry around. It's a must-have for law students, aspiring corporate lawyers, and anyone needing a quick reference on general corporate law.
Good aid for study! September 26, 2003 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
As a foreigner to study law in the U.S.,I find it very difficult for me to comprehend what the casebooks are trying to express. I was suggested to search for the nutshell related to the Robert W. Hamilton's thick, heavy and hard-to-understand casebook on Corporations here at Amazon. After I browsed through the introduction of this little book, I found it very concise in expression and easy to catch the points. I consider it a great aid for those who find it hard to study the Hamilton's casebook.
