Book is just OK February 12, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The book has a lot of mistakes in it which is time consuming and frustrating when trying to prepare. It did cover a lot of information that was on the test, and I was well prepared for the test and passed it the first go around. I'm sure that there are better study guides out there, but I didn't find one. I would suggest the book, but just beware of the typos!
Anyone heard of Proof- reading? May 20, 2007 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
The book covered a lot of material, however I felt under-prepared when I took my test. A lot of the material in the book was never mentioned on the test as well. In addition, there were countless errors and mistakes in wording and in the math problems themselves. My sister, who teaches math, told me to go with my gut and not necessarily trust what the book said because so many things were incorrect. Someone really needs to proof read this book!
