I found it to be an interesting accounting of some of the incidents that the media deliberately hide from us. It is alarming to see the extent they will go to to push their agenda

As a supporter of handgun rights, I am aware that Gottlieb and Workman have written several books and that they together account for the braintrust behind the Second Amendment Foundation and Gun Week, an Internet and print publication. The information in America Fights Back is good, but is sketchily organized to say the least. My major complaint with the book, however, is that the writing is atrocious. I commend the authors for wanting to write this book and for the other work and works they do in support of the right to keep and bear arms, but producing book after book (I assume their other works are similarly inept as I doubt they would jointly chuck their writing skills on a single book) it would seem to me that they might, at some point, learn how to write readable paragraphs, or decide to engage a competent editor to come to work at Merrill Press, or--even better--hire an accomplished ghost writer to organize their disjointed information into something that resembles literature. As titular spokepersons for supporters of the 2nd Amendment, I would ask that they speak well and represent those of us who also support gun rights by producing literature that expresses their well-held opinions with a modicum of eloquence.

If you own a gun or are thinking about it with the intent of useing it for self-defence, learn the rules an make this one of the short list books you must read.

all the stories of great Americans using their guns to fight back against their families, co-workers, and fellow students by shooting them dead. Also the stories of great Americans defending themselves against mall shoppers by shooting them dead. Not to mention the stories of great Americans defending themselves against *themselves*...by shooting themselves dead.
A comic book for old people who never grew up.

All Americans,especially Congressmen ,must read this book and we will understand the wisdom of the drafters of our U.S. Constitution and why WE MUST MAINTAIN IT TO DEFEND OUR NATION, ESPECIALY IN THIS AGE OF TERRORISM!!!!
