Amazon.com For all his political bluster and braggadocio about clean living and killing his own food, let's not overlook the fact that Ted Nugent the guitarist and showman is an entertaining dude, a quality that's in abundance on this two-disc DVD package. In fact, there's more Nuge here than pretty much anyone could need: two hours from a 2001 concert in hometown Detroit (Ted twice comes onstage astride a bison, showing he hasn't lost his flair) mixed with rehearsal and sound check footage, plus enough extras (old concert performances, Nugent's audio commentary, etc.) and assorted bells and whistles to carry over to a second disc. There's even a clip of Nuge lip-syncing "Journey to the Center of the Mind" with his '60s group the Amboy Dukes. Nugent's tuneless hard rock songs and screeching vocals are as, uh, distinctive as ever, but at least the 50-plus rocker has ditched the loincloth and Tarzan act. --Sam Graham

Too many F bombs February 9, 2008 Ted talks too much and doesnt focus enough on what made him great. Too many F-bombs dropped in thid DVD. I saw him live and loved the show. I dont recall it being like this DVD. Anyway he rocks and the quality of sound and picture is good.

This dvd is an old Ted doing songs from yesteryears!!! Do you understand me people!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!! This is not Ted in his prime, this is a retired Ted trying to cash in!! Do not be fooled by the stupid reviews saying this is good!! And do not be fooled be the idiot stars!!! I did buy this and through it in the garbage after watching it once!!
old man ted March 10, 2007 1 out of 10 found this review helpful
Dont get fooled, this is an older Ted trying to cash in! The sound is pretty good but its a concert recorded 2001,2002 with clipps of his rambleings thrown in. Nothing that would be watched a second time!! decription of this dvd is different than what it actuality is.At times it does get boring listening to him brag about how great he is. Also the first dvd is very short! Why two dvds! How about putting out something from your time Ted, like from the 70s or early 80s dumbass!
