5 out of 5 stars A classic in its field   October 5, 2001

The Infrared Handbook is a classic in its field and a must for anyone working in the defense optics industry.

1 out of 5 stars overpriced and low binding quality   July 17, 1999
4 out of 9 found this review helpful

The binding quality is very low on this nearly public domain book. The covers are plastic and the margins are very narrow. The book feels like it will fall apart after a year of use. Try for a previous printing at a used book site. The previous printings were much higher quality.
