None Dare Call It Reason August 4, 2008 In this book, Richard Sutherland explains how we, the US electorate, allowed ourselves to be sold down the river.
This is a must read for Reagan Democrats, and anyone who has been left scratching his head over how voting for putative conservatives got us into this mess.
Wake-up Call for American Citizens July 26, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Powerful, concise and logical, this should be required reading for every American citizen. It is refreshing to find the truth presented as common sense and without having to wade through pages of doggerel.
Great and important book July 19, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
"None Dare Call It Reason---How The Average American Has Hanged Himself" by Richard Sutherland is an amazing book. Mr. Sutherland traces with efficiency, dispatch and eloquence, what has happened to the average American from the presidencies of Ronald Reagan through George W. Bush.
The book is short, less than one hundred pages. In these few pages it describes in concise, easy to digest terms, with no word dancing, the sad and dangerous economic, political, and moral states we presently find ourselves in. More importantly, it strongly suggest ways that we, as citizens, can use to recover from this morass. I can only hope that the book receives wide readership. I feel privileged to have read it.
