Product Description
Trisha Ashworth and Amy Nobile conducted interviews with hundreds of mothers while researching their best-selling book I Was a Really Good Mom Before I Had Kids. It didn't take long before these moms began to reveal their Dirty Little Secrets?surprising, thought-provoking, guilty confessions they hadn't told anyone else. Cringe-worthy moments ("I bit my daughter's finger trying to steal a bite of her cookie.") meet real insights ("I love my kids but I didn't always. It took time to fall in love with them."). These are the private thoughts that every mom has?and every mom can relate to.

1 out of 5 stars Waste of money!!!!!!!!!   June 30, 2008
I was under the impression there would be stories to go with the little secrets......wrong! It took me 15 minutes to read the entire book. They should tell you there are one liners per page. Waste of my money....very disappointing........don't make the same mistake I made!

1 out of 5 stars Huge Waste of Money   June 30, 2008
I was so disappointed to open the book and find it's only a sentence on each page of "secrets". I really regret buying this book.

2 out of 5 stars Funny yet disappointing.   May 29, 2008

I read an ad for this in a parenting magazine. I think they put all of the funny parts in the ad. I ordered this online and was shocked when I saw there was only one sentence per page. I read the whole book in 10 minutes.
There were many "confessions" that had nothing to do with being a mom. I guess I just think if I spend $10 on a book it should last more than 10 minutes.

5 out of 5 stars Loved this book!!   May 29, 2008
I had so much fun reading this book - there were so many insights into the truly honest (and hilarious) side of mommyhood. The kind of frankness you would usually only get from very close friends, over a bottle of wine. I LOVED the "I was a really good mom" as well... a great follow up!

5 out of 5 stars Put down those novels.......   May 24, 2008
This is the perfect book for all of us busy moms. Put down your novels and read something that makes you laugh. This book is a fun and light read. Forget the wine and candles, this book makes a great hostess gift. This is a much needed book because it makes us realize that we are not alone and we have all done THAT....... Many of us have cut those same corners.
