 New Comprehensive A-Z Crossword Dictionary April 28, 2008
This is the BEST Crossword Dictionary by far. Had one that was so dog-earred and torn was literally falling apart. Had purchased a dozen other crossword dictionarys but none measured up to this one. Went on line and found it... EXCELLENT PURCHASE and so excited to have a new one.

 Not as expected! February 29, 2008
New Comprehensive A-Z Crossword Dictionary I purchased this crossword dictionary to replace one that I've utilized for reference for many years. I based my decision on the descriptive attributes of being bigger and better than ever with thousands of updated entries, and containing nearly twice as much information as competing crossword dictionaries. However, I find this crossword dictionary lacking in much of the word definitions and descriptive information that my old crossword dictionary contains. I find that I must still resort to my old crossword dictionary when stumped by crossword clues because the answer could not be found in the A-Z Crossword Dictionary.
A-Z and a lot more February 23, 2008
I looked in my other dictionaries for nostril I couldn't find it. But, in A-Z I found it and the answer to todays NYTimes puzzle.Saturdays is known as the hardest one of the week. One that I need a reference for.My experience is the same as many of the other reviewers ,the binding in the soft bound falls apart very easily. There are too many pages for the binding.There are plasticized covers in other crossword dictionaries . I bought one at the same time as my A-Z book and it hasn't fallen apart.The type face in this book is large enough that I don't need a magnifying glass. In another dictionary that lists noble prize winners you have a hard time reading their names.I like the addition of foreign languages. Usually, I manage to comeup with most of the more common words. But, I don't just use the book for crosswords. In visiting Europe this book comes in handy as a source of vocabulary,in French,German and Spanish.When I travel I buy the NY Herald -Tribune and it has the same puzzle as the NYTimes.
