As Good as it gets April 6, 2008
As a new world band radio listener this book is my guide and guru. I live in a rural area and have no neighbors that are interested in world band so I use it as one of my major resources. Coupled with information from the world wide web one can get a start as a listener and have fun listening to what is happening in the world and see how others view the same news event.

I have purchased this annual book for several years, and it remains easy to use with good information. I recommend it for up to date info for all Shortwave listeners.

I love reading this yearly published guide / book.
it tells it like it is, damn the advertisers.
if they think a radio is junk, they say it.
its well researched, well layed out, super informative and a hoot to read.
The bible of world band radio.
buy it and you will be hooked every year.

Even better, considering these can retail for twenty five or more depending on what source you buy it from.
Anyone who wants broadcast shortwave information quickly

This is an extremely fine SW (Shortwave) radio listening guide. I am very glad we bought it. I am also extremely happy with all the great information provided. It has so much information however that it may take all year for me to get through it all before the next official issue is produced. Monthly updates are also available for free on the world wide web (which are also very informative).
