Product Description The Atlantic Paranormal Society, also known as T.A.P.S., is the brainchild of two plumbers by day, paranormal investigators by night: Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson. Their hair-raising investigations, fueled by their unique abilities and a healthy dose of scientific method, have made them the subject of a hit TV show: the SCI FI Channel's Ghost Hunters. Now their experiences are in print for the first time, as Jason and Grant recount for us, with the help of veteran author Michael Jan Friedman, the stories of some of their most memorable investigations. The men and women of T.A.P.S. pursue ghosts and other supernatural phenomena with the most sophisticated scientific equipment available -- from thermal-imaging cameras to electromagnetic-field recorders to digital thermometers -- and the results may surprise you. Featuring both cases depicted on Ghost Hunters and earlier T.A.P.S. adventures never told before now, this funny, fascinating, frightening collection will challenge everything you thought you knew about the spirit world.

Love it, love it, love it! July 21, 2008 This is even better than I imagined. These guys should consider writing more books in the future. It's easy to read & so very informative. Couldn't have asked for a better book.
Excellent, Excellent Excellent!!!!! July 21, 2008 I love watching Ghost Hunters on the SciFi Channel... and this book just takes their experiences to the next level! With a "behind-the-scenes" writing style, you get to know the personalities of the employees of T.A.P.S. and how they all get along. There's commentary that the shows don't give you, and it makes you feel like you're one of them - in on all the action!! T.A.P.S. has a very scientific approach to Ghost Hunting, and this book explains a lot that the series cannot in a restricted time frame. I love it... and I want more of it!! Write some more, guys!!!
OK But A Little Disappointed July 15, 2008 I am a huge Ghost Hunters fan and thought this book would be great. It IS ok, but I really didn't get anything new out of it, most of the stories are from actual episodes so I already knew what was going to happen. No interesting background or really great pics. OK but a little boring. If you have already seen all the episodes on TV, no need to buy this particular book. Sorry Jason & Grant!
Excellent read July 14, 2008 Very good reading if you are into the Paranormal.Objectively written, and provides very good existence for the Paranormal however obscure it may be. Just one downside of the book; there was a lot of emphasis placed on some personal "disputes" between staff. Is this worth putting into print? Aside from this, very well put together - brief stories provided enthralling reading for that late stormy night!
Interesting, but repeats a lot from the TV show July 8, 2008 This book goes over different paranormal investigations done by the group now known as TAPS. It begins by going over early investigations that occurred before the television show. This was interesting and I enjoyed reading about them. About half way through the book, the investigations discussed were ones that were shown on TV (The Ghost Hunters). Most of the information was a repeat. I lost interest before the end of the book.
