Awesome book April 12, 2008 Very informative book. I like that it has pictures also, not just pencil sketches like some other books.
A must have for any aspiring or seasoned herbalist! March 25, 2008 This book is an invaluable source of information and a very handy plant identification companion. It is a beautiful, compact guide with fantastic photos of individual plants and a ton of useful information.

This is another book I am constantly referencing. It is small enough to pack in your backpack or coat pocket if you want to identify plants in the wild. Steven Foster also provides clear photographs to make it far easier to determine the plants.
The descriptions are good and have helped me several times identify plants in my region.
