Product Description Mosby's Respiratory Care PDQ is a comprehensive and precise pulmonary reference manual that gives you STAT access to all the vital data you need in the clinical setting. This book is designed for speed with much of the data organized into fast-access charts and tables. The entire scope of adult pulmonary care is included with a brief chapter on Neo/Peds. Chapters include Diseases, ABG's, Hemodynamics, Lab Values, PFT's, X-rays, Mechanical Ventilation, Formulas, & much more! Unlike other pocket guides, this is in full color, and has durable plastic-type pages designed to last. This is the newest "state of the art" respiratory pocket guide that no therapist should be without.
- Small, spiral-bound format is a convenient, take-along size that lays flat when open for easy reference.
- Printed color tabs visually divide sections, making it easy to locate information.
- Full-color design highlights and clarifies important facts.
- Commonly used clinical information is presented in at-a-glance tables, formulas, equations, and lab values - all necessary to the delivery of safe and efficient care.
- Durable, waterproof pages are designed to withstand continual use.

Lightening fast referencing... November 13, 2007 A couple of us got this for our first clinic rotations in RT school, our clinic instructors and floor RTs we worked with all had them by the end of our semester at one hospital. It's the best out there. The "Oakes" pocket guides where required for clinics at the time, the PDQ has since replaced it. The spiral gets hooked on scrub seams, I prefer the sturdiness to the sticky Oakes binder pages.
A Respiratory Must Have July 28, 2007 This book is well organized and easy to use during clinical rotations. A handy reference for all material - even important things you don't use everyday as a respiratory therapist or respiratory student.
An excellent reference January 22, 2007 Wee arrranged and clear to understand - this book has finally answered all my questions, in a language which I can understand, and at last I now understand my specialist. I would recommend this book to anyone with any form of respiratory illness or wishes to understand the deeper workings of the lungs
