Physiology for Massage Therapy course June 10, 2008 This book is easy to read and follow. It was a required textbook and I got a great deal on Amazon.com! I am so glad that it is easy to follow and understand--as easy as physiology can be! The copy I purchased was in mint condition from a great seller!
Excellent text on A & P January 31, 2008 This text is wonderfully write. It is concise and to the point. It covers all the important facts without boring students. The colored diagrams are easy to follow. The key to academic excellence is have students glue themselves to their texts. No complaints from either students or faculty on this book. I would also recommend the study guide that is available with the text.. President Brooklyn Institute of Massage Therapy ( Brooklyn, NY ). Happy studying !
The basics, clearly defined December 24, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was issued this book as one of many during my paramedic program. It was intended for the anatomy and physiology module of the course, and I could not see a better way to get a quicker grasp and overview of the human body and its systems. This book does a great job of putting every simple and to the point. I have used other books for A&P courses that I've taken in college, which were much thicker and contained more information, but they were much more expensive and more in depth. I enthusiastically recommend this book for anyone needing a fast thorough introduction to the human body. Great Book!
Very Nice Illustrations October 26, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Illustrations were the best part of this text book. Since it was a required text for a coaching license the illustrations made understanding the material much easier.Structure & Function of the Body - Soft Cover Version (STRUCTURE & FUNCTION OF THE BODY)

Be careful. I ended up with the study guide and not the book that I had intended to buy. Be sure you have checked the names of both authors as Thibideau is listed as author but the study guide is written by Linda Swisher...
