Not exactly what I expected, pretty good though. November 10, 2008 Haven read the previous reviews and peeked one translated version, i decided to order this book. I found that this book has a lot of useful data, but I read it mostly as a supplement to the textbooks, which sometimes doesn't mention these "secrets". It`s not a core review or a quick reference book. If you`re looking for that go for Morgan Instead. I think this book is very useful mostly for those who have some basic knowledge of anesthesia or are practicing it (Anesthesiologists, Residents, CRNA) than for undergraduate medical students. If you want to learn the basics this is not the book. Given its size and price and relatively large amount of useful data I Highly recommend it.
Great review September 5, 2008 This book is excellent for reviewing information. I love it. Its the best anesthesia book I have. Very to the point but thorough also.
Concise and precise July 25, 2008 I've found this book complete and concise, gathering togheter anatomical, physiological, pharmaceutical informations from a practical other than theoretical point of view. Whithout it, you will need to collect a lot of textbooks and papers to find and review those informations. I would rather raccomend to print the next edition using greater fonts.
To the point June 19, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I highly recommend this book for ICU nurses and those beginning anesthesia training. It is to the point, and contains a ton of information. You will learn something new everytime you review it!
Great addition of reference April 20, 2008 Great book for review of cases especially if you have limited time. Preceptors like to use this book to pimp you. Easy read, inclusive. Would recommend.
