Showcases more than 125 of the most outrageously wacky place September 7, 2004 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Now in an updated and expanded second addition, Wisconsin Curiosities by radio personality Michael Feldman (with the invaluable assistance of "Michael Feldman's Whad'Ya Know?" researcher Diana Cook) showcases more than 125 of the most outrageously wacky places to see in Wisconsin. From the world's largest talking cow, to basketball on snowshoes, the annual Beef-A-Rama festival, National Mustard Day at the Mustard Museum, and much more, Wisconsin Curiosities is as fun for armchair travelers to read as it is for curiosity seekers to use as a tour guide. Black-and-white photographs round out the descriptive, entertaining vignettes with easy-to-follow maps.
Here's a Great Book October 1, 2002 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Without a doubt, one of the finest guides to the most interesting attractions in Wisconsin.
Michael Feldman October 14, 2000 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
Always treating his subject with humor and a bit of disrespect, Feldman tackles trivia and oddities found on the roadsides of Wisconsin. An excellent book to keep in the glove box when you're traveling around the state, or to keep in the house for fun reading any time.
