Kennedy Really Shines This Time September 29, 2008 This is the best thing I have read by Dan Kennedy.
He is clearly passionate about Marketing To The Affluent and it comes through in his writing here - it is enthusiastic and brisk.
A really fine book about how to sell stuff to people who have the money to buy it. Why would you want to do anything else?
Yet few businesses are engineered from the ground up to sell affluent people what they want to buy. This book is full of insights and ideas that can help you shift the focus of your business to getting your money from the people who have most of it.

This is BS. All they really talk about is who the Affluent are, and don't we already know that? Duh!! Not much marketing in it. I would not recommennd wasting your money. It's just a lure, like so many others, for people to buy the book so they make money and become Affluent.
WARNING! Don't Read This Unless You Are Already Rich! September 4, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I'm not recommending Dan's book. Especially to others in my field. Nope! I don't want them to know until AFTER I've had time to read it for a 3rd time and implement more changes in my business as a result!
I paid money to be marketed to August 15, 2008 4 out of 8 found this review helpful
This book has few real insights. Some of the material was moderately interesting with many examples of successful business models. Much of the material was timely, and it was poorly edited in a rush to get printed. I usually overlook this if the material is particularly useful. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case, at least for me. There was too much of Kennedy's opinion and currently popular anecdotal evidence, and too few researched truths, though he presented much as fact. And, of course, the reader is bombarded by the up-sell attempts throughout the book. Like any book of this sort, the reader can pick out some useful information, but I'd recommend saving your money by leaving this one on the shelf.
No BS from PS August 11, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Dan has done it again in writing in such a way to get inside the minds of the affluent. There is no guessing who they are, what they want and how to tap into this market. What I enjoy the best is Dan's REAL LIFE examples that pin point how others have succeeded. You do have to roll up your sleeves and take inspired action which will lead to success. For what you pay for the book it is a real bargain to get the full story on how to enter and thrive in these markets to the rich. I Love his saying about go ahead and "Get Rich Quick"! who wants to get rich slow? You will be amazed at the power of this book, Thanks Pete
