Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Rendering techniques   November 6, 2007

This book takes you through the basic giving examples of critiques as why something doesn't quite look right and thereby teaching your eye what to look for when rendering, gradually giving harder examples. I used this book to start drawing.

5 out of 5 stars best beginner drawing book   September 26, 2007

Love this book. Perfect for a quick review of the basics and as a good intro to drawing. I wish I had had this book years ago when I started taking fine arts classes at the local university.
