Product Description
Readers captivated by Twilight and New Moon will eagerly devour Eclipse, the much anticipated third book in Stephenie Meyer's riveting vampire love saga. As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob --- knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death. But which is which?

5 out of 5 stars Read in one day!   July 18, 2008
NOW this was a great read! This is the one book that got my 100% obsessed. I never saw a love triangle coming! I am still trying to understand Bella's being IN love with Jacob. I felt it took something away from the relationship with Edward that was suppose to be this insane, intense love...I work @ Barnes & Noble & I've had several conversations about these books with my co-workers. This is the kind of book that gets people talking because we all have opinons of our own & I have had to remind myself this is fiction.(Seriously). Oh & I am a 33 yr old mom, so this book is not just for teens. Read it!

5 out of 5 stars Eclipse (Twilight Saga, Book 3)   July 18, 2008
This book was great. It keeps your attention through out the whole book. It also leaves you wanting more. I can't wait for the fourth book to come out. I truely reccommend reading the series.

5 out of 5 stars Awesome!   July 17, 2008
I usually never read books, but my wife got me started on it and the next thing I knew I'd read the whole saga!

It is by far the best Vampire story ever. It's not freakish, scary, or horrific. Forget Dracula, Blade, or anything else you've ever learned or seen with Vampires. She puts a new spin on the whole thing and does a real good job (especially the part about being in the sunlight). I'd give more details, but that would mean providing spoiler's, and I'm not about to do that. :)

3 out of 5 stars Dislike Jacob Even More in This Book   July 17, 2008
After reading this book, I'm not sure how good a writer Ms. Meyer is. I'm not going over how repetitive she is, others have pointed this out. But my biggest problem is that she did not develop the tension or attraction between Bella and Jacob, as she did w/Bella and Edward. Jacob's kisses are tantamount to rape, if you ask me. Bella did not ask for either of them, she was tricked into asking for the last kiss they have in the book. He forces himself on her at every turn. And I'm supposed to believe this in the end makes Bella realize she loves him. He's completely dishonest and uses trickery to manipulate her because of what HE wants. In my opinion, he would make an abusive partner. Edward on the other hand is willing to let her go if that will make her happy, that doesn't sound obsessive or unhealthy to me. I suppose I can understand people's opinions that Bella's love is obsessive, but love at first sight, if it indeed exists, is love at first sight. Meyer makes imprinting w/the werewolves sound absolutely okay. What's the difference? I dislike how she's setting up the werewolves to be the better guys here. They are, in the end as she has written them, no better than the Cullens.

I said this in my other review and after reading this book, I am more determined than than ever to look at the last page of "Breaking Dawn" before buying it. If I do not see Bella and Edward together at the end, I will not be buying the book. I don't want to waste my reading time.
