Editorial Reviews:

Product Description

My name is Chloe Saunders and my life will never be the same again.

All I wanted was to make friends, meet boys, and keep on being ordinary. I don't even know what that means anymore. It all started on the day that I saw my first ghost—and the ghost saw me.

Now there are ghosts everywhere and they won't leave me alone. To top it all off, I somehow got myself locked up in Lyle House, a "special home" for troubled teens. Yet the home isn't what it seems. Don't tell anyone, but I think there might be more to my housemates than meets the eye. The question is, whose side are they on? It's up to me to figure out the dangerous secrets behind Lyle House . . . before its skeletons come back to haunt me.

4 out of 5 stars Teenage Paranormal   August 19, 2008
This book had a great plot and it kept things at a speed that made it hard to put down. The charaters are multi-faceted. It is a great start for a late teen interested in beginning the paranormal experience.

5 out of 5 stars Kelley Armstrong Summong   August 18, 2008
Great book from a great author. You can't go wrong when reading Kelley Armstrong. Even though it is YA adults would still enjoy.

5 out of 5 stars The Summoning   August 11, 2008
Wow! Another GREAT book from one of my favorite authors. Geared a little more towards the teens..Me, I'm in my 40's, but loved it!

5 out of 5 stars She's done it again!!   August 4, 2008
Once again, Ms Armstrong has outdone herself. As soon as I heard this book was coming out, I decided I was going to buy it whether it rocked my sock drawer(100x better than sock rocking =P) or stunk it up; one of the best decisions I've made!! After a while, I forgot that I was supposed to be wary of how the story was going to go, and completely lost myself in it. This book is a definite "stay up all night with a flashlight under the covers and read until you finish" kind of book, but I don't recommend hiding with a flashlight in the summer and trying to read this; it's way too hot for that xP I agree with another reviewer that this book does feel like it left off in the middle, but that just means there'll be a sequel that's just as page turning as this one.
Hope all you Kelley Armstrong fans AND teen fantasy fic readers read this book; you'll be glad you did =]

5 out of 5 stars The Summoning ,kelley armstrong proves she has the imagination   August 1, 2008
This book hook me with the first page and did not let go till the end. Her character development proves that she is a writer to read. She has a style that makes it almost impossible to wait for the next book. I also met her at the comic con this year and was impressed with how approachable she was. I love her work and recommend this book to all the readers. highly recommended can't wait for the sequel
