Product Description There are photographs, and then there are Polaroids. This hardbound beauty is stuffed with 100+ specimens and curiosities from the Polaroid age, when gratification was as instant as the digital camera but far easier to lose. It's filled with an incredible collection of photos - some of them very funny, others strangely moving and affecting.

Art book or not... September 29, 2008 you'd be better off looking at Flickr. A good number of these photos are not interesting at all, granted there are a few you'll stare at and wonder about, but the vast majority of these feel like they should have remained lost.
Great coffetable book for those who appreciate the beauty of a Polaroid November 25, 2007 14 out of 17 found this review helpful
True, this book is simplistic in its photo descriptions, but the photos really do the talking. Don't expect to get a voyeuristic glimpse into the lives of complete strangers; the photos are more subtle than that. From descriptions that I have read, I get the feeling that this is more of an "art book" than the other Found books. There is an indescribable charm surrounding this photography medium: Polaroids have a certain mystery and even poignancy about them, and this book does a nice job of showcasing that. This isn't the type of book that I'd go out and buy for myself, but it's nice to give/receive as a gift.
Very disappointed September 21, 2007 21 out of 24 found this review helpful
I feel really ripped off. I thought this book would be more like the other "Found" titles. Instead, it has one picture every other page - with only the briefest captions. Too little for way too much!
