Great explanations, great pictures! October 15, 2008 This book is written in a casual, even humorous, style and explains everything in a clear and constructive way. The author has obviously learned the best way of doing things, after years of actually doing it. And, the pictures! That's what makes it stand out from the rest - the large, full-color illustrations that show you exactly what he's talking about. This book is as valuable as a soldering iron or wire strippers for anyone who wants to do things the right way and avoid future problems because they just guessed at it. Highly recommended!
pure audio signals September 28, 2008 I love this book! I had forgotten the basics and my studio sounds so much better. The printing is very good, and the colors are distinct and it is easy to follow the text. I will save money by being able to trouble shoot my noise problems that have plagued my recording projects.
