| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The 6th edition of this popular and manageably sized casebook retains the structure of the 5th edition and its emphasis on practical skills and contextual analysis. New cases, statutes, and notes reflect judicial and legislative developments across the country. The new edition includes materials on the 2005 amendments to the bankruptcy code and two new uniform laws. It also integrates the Supreme Court's recent privacy cases, including Lawrence v. Texas, with traditional family-privacy materials. Updated notes and additional problems test a wide range of skills and introduce students to practical aspects of family law.

| Customer Reviews:
Decent Book, but has many flaws July 28, 2007 This is a decent law school text book. While it does give a good overall summary of the current trends in family law, the book is filled with notes that really have no relevancy in any way to the cases you have read. Also the comments sections devoted to law reviews feel like they were forced in to add pages as these comments usually add nothing to the section in which you are studying
