Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Completely surprised by how good this is.   December 18, 2007

This was a required book for my legal writing class, and I expected it to be superfluous - after all, there is plenty of other documentation for research, LexisNexis, Westlaw, etc.

But this book turned out to be a gem. The writing is good enough that I stayed reading through it at times even though I had looked up what I needed to. Content-wise, the book is an excellent introduction to the law, and the first half should be read the week before law school starts.

Style-wise, the authors are intelligent, they don't insult the reader, and they have a sense of humor as well.
