Product Description The Dunnes have set off on a ten day boat trip, a trip that hopefully will bring them closer together, despite the fact that the father, Stuart is staying behind on land. But only an hour into the trip they're already falling apart. The teenage daughter plans to drown herself, and the teenage boy is high on drugs. Ten-year-old Ernie is near catatonic. But their mother Anne, with the help of her brother-in-law Jeff, is insistent on pulling everyone together, once and for all. Just when things start to take a turn for the better, disaster strikes. Stuart is left to pick up the pieces and find his family--but he is eager to start a brand new life. Maybe he's a little too eager.

Sailing with the Dunnes July 19, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
On the drive to and from work for the last few days, I've been listening to the reading of Sail by James Patterson and Howard Roughan. Talk about being on the edge of your seat (car seat).
The Dunne family experiences problem after devastating problem when they embark on a sailing trip on their private boat. This formerly not so closenit mother and her three kids take this trip to get closer to each other. But they didn't know that someone very close to them would be happy if they didn't come back...ever.
This story is the ultimate exampe of "what goes around comes around" because every bad guy gets his due, no matter how cunning they thought they were.
I totally recommend this book to anybody who loves to read about a great adventure with a happy ending.
Typical Patterson July 18, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
As usual, you will find it difficult to put the book down once you have started to read. He keeps you guessing throughout, and then a finish you never expected. Keep them coming, Mr. Patterson, I'm ready.
Awesome as always! July 17, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
James Patterson has done it again! With every page he keeps you on the edge of your seat. I finished this book at 4 in the morning because I simply could not put it down! As usual, its completely an unexpected ending but he really draws you into the story. If you like a well written mystery then James Patterson is a must have! You won't want to miss this one! S.L. A book that you cannot put down. Interesting to the very end.
Good summer read July 16, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love James Patterson and read everything of his! This was a great page-turner and wonderful summer read. I read it quickly and had a hard time putting it down. HOWEVER, that snake scene on the beach was a bit over the top!! I did have my heart beating, now I admit that, but some of the scenes(the shark) were a bit "out there"! But, Hey! It was fun!
