Strangers in Death April 22, 2008 I have enjoyed J.D. Robb books for years. However, over the past several books the Death Series is becoming predictable. Eve becomes irrated with everything, Roarke forgives her everything and on and on. Strangers in Death is no exception to the predictability. Shake the series up a bit and write something totally unexpected.
Interlude in Death February 10, 2008 Surprised at the size of the book -- was expecting her full-size reads. It was a great read though - got right to the point of the book!
INTERLUDE IN DEATH January 19, 2008 THE BOOK WAS VERY EXCITING IN KEEPING YOU WONDERING, WHO THE REAL KILLER WAS. AS ALWAYS IT WAS SOMEONE THAT YOU NEVER EXPECT.
Love the In Death Series January 9, 2008 Another awesome read. The In Death Series is perfect. I have started rereading all the bookks from the beginning of the series and am reading each one in order. If you have the opportunity, do it. If you like JD Robb you'll like this book. My husband got this book for me for christmas and was worried it wasn't the right one because of it's size. I can read the normal books in about 2 nights, and it's nice to change it up a little and have an easy one night read. No worries, you don't lose any of JD's pizazz. Don't let the size fool you. I have the anthology and the novelette. It's nice to have the entire set and to have the novelette when I don't want to bother with the other stories in the anthology. The story of Eve Dallas and Roarke never gets old.
Disappointing Eve Dallas short story January 7, 2008 I wish I had known this was a previously published short story rather than the full length novel I was expecting. Instead I received an 88 page paperback that, once read, was pretty obviously a filler written quickly and without the care of the other Dallas books.
