Book Description New York Times bestselling author Sherrilyn Kenyon delivers a special collector's-edition tale of unexpected passion woven from the mysteries of a celebrated ancient tapestry.
Beautiful scholar Channon MacRea has spent years studying the legendary Dragon Tapestry, devoting days and nights to deciphering the impenetrable Old English symbolism. Then one evening the unnaturally handsome Sebastian appears. He claims to hold the key to solving the tapestry's mysteries. Bearing magnificently taut and tanned flesh marked by intriguing scars of battle, he also claims to be a dragon slayer trapped between two worlds.
For Channon there's only one way to finally uncover the secrets of the intricate embroidery-by following the seductive stranger into a fantastic alternate world of magic, danger, and erotic adventure.

Awesome Story..Wish it was Longer! July 17, 2008 Nice addition to the series. I found this after I was finished book 6. Loved the characters, just wish it was longer!
DragonSwan Review July 10, 2008 I have read Sherrilyn Kenyon for years and will continue to do so. DragonSwan was a wonderful and funny beginning to this awesome series. Sherrilyn Kenyon actually got me started on reading paranormal books. As usual her men are yummy and strong and these Were-Hunters are no different. Every book is an adventure within itself. I highly recommend this book. Once you start this series you will not stop until she has written the last book.
Dragonswan July 9, 2008 As book 1.5 of the Dark-Hunter series I had missed it until finishing book 5. It was worth going back and reading this novella as it gave so much information that helped fill in some minor gaps of the stories that followed. Kenyon is by far the wittiest, laugh out loud, writer I have happened upon.
May there be uncountable more to come!
Doesn't Meet Kenyon's Standard June 21, 2008 Yes, I realize that this is a short story, but why bother setting a story in Anglo Saxon England if you aren't going to research the culture? One of the things that I originally admired about the Dark Hunter series is how well Kenyon wove elements from ancient Greek mythology and culture into the structure of her universe. The lack of ancient Saxon myth content was disappointing to me, and Kenyon could have incorporated it into the story of the dragon tapestry if she had chosen to do it. As it is, what we are left with, is rather thin ,though it does integrate well with the Dark Hunter universe. This story reminds me that although Kenyon is seen as a crossover writer and is marketed as such, she still has a way to go before she can match the quality of the best in the fantasy genre. I'll grant that she was ahead of the curve in romance when she started the Dark Hunter series and I still consider her an imaginative romance writer.
Dragonswan May 29, 2008 Dragonswan (Dark-Hunter, Book 1.5)
For a short story Sherrilyn Kenyon is still amazing in the way she captures your attention and drags your imagination into the world of Arcadians and Katagarians. I want more!
