Brenda Jackson has a remarkable way of making the reader feel like they are in the story. I could truly feel the passion and want the two felt for each other. Spencer is a take charge, strong brother. He knows what he wants and he gets her. Great job again Brenda. You are truly a wonderful story teller.

Another great book by Brenda Jackson. Once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down. I finished the book in less than a day. I can't wait for the next book in the series.

She really could/should have done a better job with developing these characters and making Chardonnay more than just a trophy. I found myself hoping she (Donnay) would get a spine and truly make Spencer work for her love/attention or hopefully find someone else. I did not like/believe her mother's reaction to Spencer's "proposal". The whole "proposal" concept was just not believeable. I don't recommend buying this book.

Brenda Jackson is by far my favorite romance author, however Spencer's character left much to be desired. I look forward to more books by Mrs. Jackson in the future because she is simply awesome.

We meet Chardonnay Russell. Her family owns the Russell Vineyard, a vineyard known for making a quality product that has fallen on financial hardships. Spencer Westmoreland enters the picture with a proposal that will end all of the family's worries. But there is one catch, another proposal. He will help the Russells out only if Chardonnay agrees to marry him and bear his children. Is Chardonnay willing to commit to a loveless marriage in order to save her family's vineyard? Will she succumb to Spencer's forbidden passion?
As with all the others in the Westmoreland series, "Spencer's Forbidden Passion" is a charming love story told only the way Brenda Jackson can.
