Very helpful June 29, 2008 I have several healthy cookbooks. Her books are my favorite. I have most of the ingredients on hand. Yes--some of it is basic, but sometimes it is good to go back to the basics. I have not tried a recipe in here that I did not like. Very practical.

I love this cookbook, and use it all the time. Great for people who want to eat "regular" food, but lightened up with less fat and calories.
My favorite recipe is the enchiladas...this recipe is worth the price of the book alone. Makes the best enchiladas I have ever had, and my husband loves them too. Shhh...they taste so good, he does not know they are low fat! Let's just keep that our little secret!
If you are looking for wonderfully tasty recipes for great "comfort food" with less fat and calories, this book fits the bill!
Must-have cookbook for yummy healthy eating! December 29, 2007 This book is great! The recipes are all easy and quick, no hard-to-find ingredients, but best of all they are healthy and excellent! My husband asks me all the time to make more from this cookbook. I originally bought the cookbook for husband's weight loss/lowering blood pressure/cholesterol, but these are recipes the whole family loves. Nothing "diet" about them. They are just plain healthy ingredients made into really good dishes. I refer to it again and again.

This is a good cookbook with tons of awesome ideas that don't require too many ideas. I love how it has all of the recipes separated into carb categories so it's easy to choose from the list.
