A must read for those who love Leelanau.July 24, 2004 I loved this book. Kathleen Stocking has captured what is so very, very special about an area which I have considered my second home for over fifty years. Her descriptions of the locals and the landscape are on target. In as much as we have similar backgrounds, I also stongly identify with her inner quest for what is truly important in life.
