Product Description
Did you know that when you have a grandma or a grandpa, there are guidelines for how best to take care of them? There are all sorts of special things you need to do to make them feel loved. Now here at last is a manual packed with advice, pointers, and helpful hints. For instance, you need to dance for them, sing to them, draw pictures for them, and even hold their hand when they cross the street! It's also very important that sometimes you take a nap with them (so that they're not the only ones). But most importantly, you need to give them lots of hugs and kisses—because that's what grandmas and grandpas like best!

"The Ultimate Guide to Grandmas & Grandpas!" by Sally Lloyd-Jones is a book packed with advice for children on how to "take care of" their grandparents. For instance, "When you have a grandma or a grandpa, you need to always play with them. And sometimes let them win." The book ends by telling you that the most important things to do with your grandma and grandpa are to kiss, hug and love them because that is what they like the most!
Cayden: "Look! That guy is pretending to be a monster!" Max: "Roar!!!"
Cayden: "And you don't just hold hands when crossing the street you also look both ways to make sure that there are not any cars coming."
Cayden: "That grandma is playing football!"
Cayden: "I like to play games with grandma and grandpa too!"
Max: "Read!" Cayden: "Grandma reads to us when she comes to our house too."
Cayden: "My favorite part was when they were building sand castles because that is a lot of fun!" Max: "Play! Dirt!"

Parent's comments:
"The Ultimate Guide to Grandmas & Grandpas!" by Sally Lloyd-Jones is a humorous look at how to do a good job being a grandchild. My children thought the book was very funny and laughed out loud at quite a few of the illustrations. This book would be the perfect one to send along on an outing to grandma and grandpa's house as I think that the grandparents would enjoy it as much as the grandchildren!
Cute little book May 30, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a cute book for children ages 5 or 6 and under. It would be fun to read with a grandchild, acting out some of the silly things. My only problem with it was that it seemed to be longer than necessary and to repeat the same idea in different ways. I guess that can be a good thing for very young children as they understand better with repetition.
great book May 30, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Wonderful book. Made everyone smile and nod their heads. It is a great gift for a new grandparent and well as a grandchild.
You have to have this book, grandparents! May 17, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a very funny guide for young children on how to "take good care" of your grandparents. From "letting them win sometimes", to making sure they get their nap..."You might need to join them once in awhile", this is beautifully illustrated and told with a wonderful sense of humor. Parents and grandparents will enjoy the humor as much as the children do! Our bookstore can't keep them on the shelves. If you want to share laughs with your grandkids,The Ultimate Guide to Grandmas & Grandpas! this is the book!!
