From the supplier: Computer virus infection can be prevented by following eight steps. First, antivirus software should be installed on all servers. Second, all workstations should also have antivirus software. Third, disks or files that come outside the firm should be scanned. Fourth, periodic scanning of all systems should be done. Fifth, the Office macro virus protection should be on when using Microsoft Office. Sixth, unexpected macros should not be opened. Seventh, everyone should be trained in using antivirus software. Eighth, users should always strive to be updated regarding virus news.
