Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
A handy reference for the layperson and professionals alike. The book explores common estate planning topics from the Michigan resident's perspective, including wills, durable powers of attorney, and revocable living trusts. More sophisticated estate planning tools such as irrevocable trusts, charitable remainder trusts, and family limited partnerships are also explained in understandable terms. Includes a copy of former Detroit Mayor Coleman Young's will, as well as a copy of the will Warren Berger, former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court prepared for himself, which represent examples of poorly planned wills.
