Product Description Michigan Facts, Food & Fun contains interesting historical facts about Michigan, recipes for Michigan foods and suggests pursuits for the family or traveler in this great state. Each page is a subject unto itself, and the particular place in the state referred to on a given page is listed inside the covers. Book is used widely by teachers teaching a unit about the state.

All the Fun Stuff April 15, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This small book about Michigan makes the reader want to get out of their chair and do something. It may be to go to some festival or celebration being held around the state. It may be to see some significant location of historical or natural wonder around the state. It more than likely may make the reader go to the kitchen and make something to eat. Although the information doesn't follow any geographic or chronologicl order, you never feel lost wandering around the state of Michigan though all the seasons of the year. It is a pleasant journey of exactly what the tile says, "Michigan Facts, Food and Fun". J. Bosley shows real passion for the people, traditions, land, and food of Michigan and brings there sights, sounds, smells, and tastes to life. When I am away from the state, it keeps me home. A great way to view the state of Michigan.
