HISTORY FORM THE hEARTH September 5, 2008 Historically correct, interestingly written, good variety of 18th century recipes for use today, although I doubt that beaver is readily available in the local markets. Attractive pictures and illustrations throughout. Gives people a good idea of challeges met by colonial cooks in preparing meals for their families.
