Strength-for-Life is the most well written, thought out, step-by-step book on how to develop your inner and physical strength to start living life to the fullest. The principles are concrete. The method is simple. A must read for anyone wanting more out of life...and who doesn't?

In Strength-for-Life, Shawn takes us beyond health, beyond the 12-weeks, to the promise of life at FULL Strength. Reading this book helped me to see both what I'd done right and wrong in my previous transformations. It felt great to finally get the answers I've been waiting for. I feel reenergized and renewed knowing I can both enjoy an amazing transformation in less time and hold on to my new, stronger self for life.

Shawn's experience and understanding of what goes on with people who are challenging themselves to transform, is clearly evident in the solutions he provides with his simple, yet revolutionary "Base Camp, Training Transformation Camp, and FIT" methods. I first became aware of Shawn Phillips several years ago. His were the abs on the video cover that made my wife say, "HOOFTA!" I began to frequent his website and participate in his on-line communities as well as reading the many articles and book, ABSolution. I've never been in danger of having my abdominal muscles show but I have been able to stay on track and grow the discipline necessary to navigate some major life upheavals.
Shawn doesn't know it but he is on my health board of directors, a small group of people (none of whom know they are on my board of directors) whose opinion carries heavy, heavy weight with me. Shawn has demonstrated for years a diamond-solid integrity. No doubt he can guide you to extreme fitness. No doubt he can teach you all about the nutrition necessary to get those "HOOFTA!" abs.

This book enlightens the reader to the profound and unalterable truths that govern the laws of STRENGTH. Read this book - learn to grow your strength, refresh your spirit and wisely choose the next step along your path.

I have just finished reading Shawn's new book and I have to say it is the most informative, simply structured to do manual for a healthy life that I have ever read!
There are too many books that are too complicated for the everyday individual and woman especially!! I appreciate his honesty and straight forward approach to health and fitness! I recommend this book to everyone that wants to improve their quality of life TODAY!!

This new book "Strength for Life," by Shawn Phillips, is informative, inspirational and motivational. We live in a world of instant gratification and this book delivers "instant impact information," beginning on the first page.
"Strength for Life," is the perfect read for anyone wanting to get started, improve their current situation and/or find balance in life.
I have been in the health care profession for over 10 years and not only did I learn from this book, I am recommending this book to everyone.

The author has consistently stayed in shape throughout career, so he is personally successful. Does this translate into success for all others? There is a lot of good solid advice in here; if this is all new to you, you will really enjoy it. If you have read Absolution, Body for Life, and other books I'm not sure how much you will gain. Email requests for everyone to buy this on a certain day were a little off-putting (same thing happened with his other book). Will you be able to stay on the prescribed amount of food and keep achieving results indefinitely? (try it out to find out for yourself)
From the hype surrounding this book I was expecting huge things. Many will benefit from this; the "Integral" slant the prose is couched in may or may not be your cup of tea.
