Living Well May 12, 2008 Montel is very passionate about sharing what he is doing to keep himself healthy. I wanted to go out and get a green smoothie after reading his section on how he was introduced to green smoothies. He said it "blew his mind"!
Careful what you read? April 24, 2008 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
There are so many books on MS. Anyone with MS should be cautious of what you read. I live it and do agree with some of Montel's epiphany. One of the true points he made was everyone's ms is different. This book is mostly about foods that can change and aid in helping your health, which I agree with a little. It is a great effort in expressing how to want to eat better. It doesn't help you to tie your shoes or to write a letter to a friend. I don't doubt that he did tons of research, so have I. I am lucky enough to have friends in the medical field that give me literature on the real deals of MS. This is only a book of hope not fact.

Thank you Montel - I know you gave it your heart and soul - but I was looking for a structured diet to follow to enhance my health - this is all over the place and so much of what is already out their. However, you have helped sooooo many people - and perhaps this will help give others hope.....
Living Well with Montel is wonderful April 7, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Montel is such a caring person....his book is so good and has such wonderful information on so many things that we should be doing and eating to make our bodies healthy. I am trying to do it his way so that I will stay healthy a lot longer and not gain weight back. I want to be here to see great-grandchildren. Can't wait to see the results in a few months. I have a wedding to go to in Nov. and want to look great as well as feel great. That is my short term goal. Long term goal is to stay that way. :)
