Product Description
Hey, Guys! Want to trade your fat for muscle?
It's finally possible, thanks to the Men's Health TNT Diet.
TNT - or Targeted Nutrition Tactics - is a scientifically designed program that can be customized for any body, including yours. It's as easy as knowing what to eat, and when to eat it. So whether you have a lot of fat to lose or just a little, TNT has a plan to fit your goals. In fact, TNT works not only for the guy who wants to lose 50 pounds of flab but also for the guy who wants to trade 10 pounds of fat for 10 pounds of muscle.
Just as important, the TNT diet significantly reduces the risk for heart disease and diabetes, a finding that's been scientifically proven in studies at the University of Connecticut. The results of these studies, which you'll read about inside, are amazing.
The best part? The TNT Diet and accompanying exercise plan couldn't be simpler. In fact, throughout the book, you'll find out why you can:
-Stop counting calories. The TNT Diet reprograms your appetite, allowing your own body to regulate the amount you eat. So you'll never feel like you're on a diet, even though you'll look like it.
-Go back to enjoying the foods you love - like prime rib, omelets, and even butter. Through a revealing report, you'll see why fat - even saturated fat - isn't the dietary demon it's been made out to be.
-Exercise just 90 minutes a week. Instead of exercising in the so-called fat-burning zone, you'll learn how to exercise in the carb-burning zone. This is the secret to making your workouts both shorter and more effective.
So what's stopping you? The Men's Health TNT Diet provides all the tools you need to dramatically transform your body - both inside and out.

3 out of 5 stars decent recipes, poor workout routines   July 8, 2008
the low carb recipes are easy to cook and taste ok. workout routines are novice.

5 out of 5 stars Awesome Book   April 7, 2008

I have been following the TNT diet and workout program for close to 20 weeks now and I have seen great results. I am 30 years old and I am thinner than I have been in 6 years and probably the strongest I have ever been.

The program is 12 weeks long, but I decided to keep going. I am at the point now where I dont feel the need to strictly follow the diet 7 days a week, yet I am still improving physically (although not losing fat as fast as I was).

Overall this program gave me better results that I ever could have imagined.

5 out of 5 stars Thumbs up 40 lbs and counting   April 6, 2008

Solid diet plan for men or women. Eventually the conventional wisdom of the U.S. will change and people will accept the science as outlined in the TNT and other low-carb diets (actually life styles). But as for me, 40 lbs are gone, going on 19 weeks. (And since I've put on some muscle, even more than 40 lbs of fat have melted away.)

5 out of 5 stars The best "diet" information - EVER!   February 26, 2008
1 out of 1 found this review helpful

I have never bothered writing a review before but the quality of information in this book compelled me to finally break the seal.

The "plans" are super easy to follow and the way I felt after only a couple of days told my body this was the real deal. I was able to melt away those last, stubborn 10lbs. of "genetic belly fat" absolutely effortlessly and the funny thing is my workouts got a lot easier than prior to reading this book.

And here's the very best part...I am a migraine sufferer -- several every week...and I have been my entire adult life. In the 4+ weeks since I started on the T.N.T. Diet, I haven't had a single one. Not even the slightest twinge of a migraine coming on. I have been able to throw away all my migraine meds (one script I had cost $100 PER PILL).

I will never again eat in the "traditional" way -- for me, it's T.N.T. for life! Get this book. It WILL change how you feel almost immediately and put you on a path to true fitness with very little effort.

3 out of 5 stars It works, BUT might not be the best for your overall health   February 21, 2008

I started using this book as a guide, in December 2006. I have lost almost 20 lbs in total. But I have 2 suggestions.
1. Read the book entirely then read a GI (Glycemic Index book like The New Glucose Revolution:)
2. Follow the exercises they do work.

The problem I found is that a strict low carb to No carb diet does not give you enough fiber, so you end up constipated. Not a good thing.
The second problem is that this book recommends no to little fruit. Which cannot be good for you.

If you follow the Good Carb/Bad Carb based on "The New Glucose Revolution:" book. You will find that you lose weight and gain muscle just as fast, if not faster.

I think a combination of using TNT exersise program and the GI diet leads to the best results.

I followed the TNT diet for a total of 5 weeks, up the point that I was not using the Bathroom for 3-4 days. Not good. The concepts are good, but the overall principle of no carbs and no fruit cannot be good for you. Its a great starter program thou....
