5 out of 5 stars AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME!!!   May 12, 2008
I was trying for about 8 months to lose the remaining 30lbs of post-baby weight I had (of an original total of 60lbs!). I had definately plateaued and actually was beginning to gain weight back! I came across this book and it specifically addressed this issue. I lost 18lbs in 2 months!!! Why, you may ask yourself, didn't I lose the other 12? I got pregnant again! :) And now during my current pregnancy, I am sticking to the 12 powerfoods (although my calorie count is considerably higher) and other basic strategies and have only gained a fraction of the weight I gained during my first pregnancy. My baby is healthy, and my hormones are more balanced as well as my cravings being less. I HIGHLY recommend this for any woman battling weight loss issues; post-pregnancy or otherwise. The idea behind this is a lifestyle change that will make you feel happier and healthier, give you more energy, and help you return to your pre-pregnancy weight faster than ever. Like I said... AWESOME!!!

I originally purchased this because I had hit a plateau on the current diet I had been doing and needed a change. I believe sometimes we can hit plateaus out of lack of interest so then that leads to lack of effort. I have made some modifications and am more liberal with things then the book has aloud. That being said I have dropped 5 lbs, but more importantly a pants size. I do believe if I followed the book to the letter I could lose more, and faster but I am happy with the results and don't feel is if I can't eat this or can't do that.

This book has it all. It begins by convincing you to change your eating habits, then includes exercises and some recipes. I recommend to read it start to finish before beginning to implement it in your life.

I am only giving it four stars, because I haven't done everyting the book says. I really ordered it to get the workout routine it has listed in there. A lot of great stuff. Keeps you moving and on the right track. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a tell all book about dieting and working out.

My wife loved my Abs Diet book, she had to have the Women's Version. She is doing great with this diet and exercise program. Women get this book - Great new way to eat and live...Live younger longer.
