Too little too much. March 25, 2008 It is very handy and an excellent coffee table book of obvious need. But, I think it is a bit over priced.
Good ideas, but they'll never work in practice... April 29, 2007 4 out of 8 found this review helpful
. This work of legislative science fiction is a great idea. One can only wish that some country some day will put it into practice. It's a very nice, well-thought out, comprehensive and fairly consistent piece of political fiction.
The problem is that the ideas herein will never work in practice. At least not unless some stronger checks and balances are put on the rapid communications systems and media developed since this great endeavor and document was first formulated over 200 years ago.
The importance of this admirable ideological manifesto should none the less never be overrated. After all - as President G W Bush so eloquently has remarked - "It's just a piece of paper". Don't look at what the supposed adherents of the principles within this "Constitution" preach and teach, look at what they do.
The constitution of the body of politics enacted by these adherents is certainly in bad health these days (April 2007). It's the constitution of a dying person, not even receiving intensive care.
Action always speaks louder than words. Take a close look at the deeds justified by this Constitution, and listen well to what they say.

Fed Up with the Feds? March 13, 2007 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
Don't complain for another second unless you know the heart of what's in this little book. Know it, use it, and write your representatives and president with it in mind. Because quite obviously, some of them *don't* know it. And I include Democrats in that statement; this isn't about parties, it's about America and what many of us as citizens have forgotten. Turn off your d@mn television, pick this book up and learn it before no one remembers what to fight for anymore.
The Most Hated Book In Washington February 21, 2007 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
Yes, it's the most hated book in Washington D.C. today. Any member of the "Powers That Be" would ban it if they had the chance. Anyone found with a copy would immediately be imprisoned, or worse.
By today's political standards, it's controversial, decidedly "un-american", and the simplest knowledge of it will bring you scorn from Democrats, Republicans, and (in the South) even many Veterans (not to mention having your phone tapped and all your mail read by Homeland Security).
Therefore, it's a must-read for every citizen in this country. If it wasn't for the printing cost, I'd say this should be free. This is the American Bible. Why not risk the penalties (real and forecasted) and take a look at it? Or better yet:
Own it. Read it. Live it.
