4 out of 5 stars Intro to performance   March 13, 2001

This book is a great surprise - Jill Dolan is perhaps the best author to date to tie the bond between performance theory and feminist theory. This book is mostly centered in the '80s aproach - however - its academic and demi-historical approach sets the base of what has become the standard view (and role) of sexuality tied in with performance, poststructuralism, and feminist theories.
