Book on modeling or cooking? July 19, 2008 I saw the author on Paula Deen and she was cute as a button. Her recipes are pretty basic, but half the book was devoted to Katie Joel, the model. They were great pictures, but heh, this is a cook book, for Pete's sake!
Oh Wow!!! July 12, 2008 This cookbook has inspired me to cook again. I don't eat red meat, so I was really in a rut trying to figure out what to make for dinner. I was chickened out! I just made the flat pie with sausage and provolone substituting hot italian turkey sausage. It was fantastic!!! This southern belle turned yankee really appreciates going back to my southern roots. Thanks Katie.
Awfully Good Recipes! June 27, 2008 Billy Joel is sure a lucky guy snaring Miss Katie Lee as his wife. This is a Southern girl who stays true to her roots and it shows in her delicious recipes. Her Buttermilk Pancakes with Caramelized Bananas are incrdible as well as her homey Chicken Pot Pie. This is a marvelous book to have in your collection!

I loved looking thru this book. Since I am a very picky eater, i haven't taken the time to make any of the food yet.
comfort food June 22, 2008 Some recipes are just fair; however, some are very good. And, the drinks are very good and easy. Overall, I like this cookbook a lot and would recommend this to my friends.
