Editorial Reviews:

Book Description
In this explosive follow-up to his acclaimed novel The Devil's Mambo, author Jerry A. Rodriguez plunges readers into a gritty, savagely erotic underworld where one man fights for his life--and his sanity... Ex-NYPD Homicide detective, multimillion-dollar lottery winner, and Manhattan salsa club owner Nicholas Esperanza is fighting hard to keep it together. Ever since his run-in with Mistress Devona Love--an encounter that shook his manhood to the core--he's been an emotional wreck: convinced Devona is stalking him, his girlfriend Legs is leaving him, and worst of all, that he is slipping into madness.

So when the woman who wants him dead kidnaps Legs in exchange for his protection, Esperanza's only choice is to hit the dangerous back streets of Brooklyn and hope that his own mind doesn't pull a double cross. Jamaican drug dealers, Italian mobsters, and Russian gangsters are just a part of the high stakes game. And with time running out, the only way Esperanza's going to win is with fists, bullets, and blood.

Revenge Tango is a wild thrill ride in which the final dance leads to a stunning climax where only the most ruthless can hope to survive...

Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars The past will return   August 14, 2008
Former detective Nicholas Esperanza is back in Jerry A. Rodriguez's REVENGE TANGO. The evil Devona has returned and she wants something and she will stop at nothing to get it. Esperanza was sure he saw her across the street from him one day, but no one believes him, so basically, he's hunting her on his own. He knows wherever she shows up, trouble begins. Eventually he is able to bring some of his friends into the situation with him, especially when Legs, his girlfriend is kidnapped.

Devona is not only good at subterfuge and murder - she's also a dominatrix and is heavily into the swinger's scene. Esperanza knows this, and is in fact, haunted by how she treated him in the past. He is more than worried about how Legs will fare with this mad woman. His chase takes him deep into the underworld of New York and as the tension builds, everyone, it seems, is out to kill.

Jerry A. Rodriguez has written another thriller that keeps your interest from the very first page. It is filled with hot love scenes, scary fights and a lot of sociopaths. It is a book well worth reading.
