The Deluxe Picnic Cooler for 4 people looks very nice and is equipped with everything one needs. It even has wheels so one can pull the cooler along instead of suffering a hernia trying to carry it. However: on the first outing, pulling the cooler along a rather smooth road, I found that the cooler lost its balance every few steps and had to be uprighted. The brief contact with the road immediately damaged the ouside fabric of the cooler. No matter how carefully we pulled it, it tipped. When we sat the cooler down, we noticed a leak. We opened the bottle compartment and found that the inside plastic lining had ripped (independent of the outside damage) along the seams. There were only two bottles inside the compartment along with some ice. The weight should not have caused the seam to rip since the compartment is advertised to hold at least 2 bottles. The seller did not respond until they realized I had contacted Amazon. The manufacturer then made the offer to have the cooler picked up and inspected to determine whether the damage was done through careless handling or manufacturer defect. Should the first be the case, I would have been responsible for two way shipping, enough money to buy another cooler.
I declined the "offer" because there is no way to prove that I WAS careful.
Summary: overprized ($90.00 plus shipping) and shoddily made.
